Omni Mt. Washington Resort (30min drive) - 4-star hotel and one of the last remaining Grand Hotels in New England. Note that Sunday’s send off brunch will be hosted on the hotel’s grounds.

What to Do
TRAILS & HIKES (note, as part of the White Mountain National Forest many trails require an entry fee, usually ~$3.00/car)
Diana’s Baths: 1.3mi, Easy. Waterfalls & natural pools.
Artist’s Bluff: 1.5mi, Easy / Intermediate. Great views of Franconia Noth & Echo Lake — popular on insta :)
Arethusa Falls & Frankenstein Cliff: 4.2mi, Difficult. Features a gorgeous, horsetail-style fall dropping 160 feet.
Franconia Ridge Loop: ~8mi, Difficult. National Geographic named this one of the world’s top 10 best hiking trails.
Flume Gorge: 2mi, Easy. a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mt. Liberty.
Mt. Washington: ~8mi (depending on the trail you choose), DIFFICULT - Experienced Climbers Only. You can also pay an entry fee to drive your car to the summit or take the Mount Washington Cog Railway (a cool train that runs to the top).
SCENIC DRIVES
The Kancamagus Highway: (34mi) one of New England’s most beautiful scenic drives, especially in Autumn. Home to an abundance of trails, walking paths, and vistas. If you’re coming via Boston during the day hours, we highly recommend programming your GPS to take you through the Kanc!
Bear Notch Road: (9mi) connects to the Kancamagus and will spit you out at the road to the venue
The Mount Washington Cog Railway: (3hr round trip, incl. 1hr to explore Mt. Washington Summit) historic train ride to the summit of Mount Washington
Bretton Woods & Mt. Washington Hotel: One of the few remaining grand hotels in New England, and a historic treasure. Take a tour of the hotel or go across the road to Bretton Woods for fun outdoor activities (zip-lining, golfing, horse riding.)
